1) Are your services subsidized or private?

A majority of our clients are referred to us by Extra Mural Care, Long Term Care (Department of Social Development) and the Department of Veterans Affairs. We also accept clients on a private basis and will develop an hourly rate based on your needs.

2) If you are eligible are there out of pocket costs for Medicare patients?

Unfortunately the services provided by Access Home Care are not covered under Medicare. However you can check with your insurance provider as some of them may be covered by your insurance.

3) Will the same person come each time I have services?

We will always try our best to make sure that we have consistency in our staffing. However should there be a last minute situation we may need to send in a new staff.

4) What if I need to change my services?

If you need to change your schedule just give our office a call at 874-0757 and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

5) Will I have a choice of who comes to my home?

We try our best to match our staff to meet your needs however should we put a staff with you that does not meet your needs please don’t hesitate to give our office a call.

6) What can I expect from the staff while they are in my homes?

Home care staff are there to help with meal preparation and light housekeeping as well some personal care such as assistance with bathing and personal grooming. We also can provide staff to assist with doctors and basic community functioning such as getting groceries.
